My Journey Back to Me

Starting over is never easy. We are living through difficult times but I am an optimist. I know what I need to do and cutting my herd down is only part of the equation. I am in the process of switching back to my beloved Arabian breed with the acquisition of three purebreds this last spring. Two are black descendents of the immortal Blacklord Arabi and one is a grandson of the legendary Ali Jamaal. It is this bay colt that I am focusing on as a breeding stud over then ext few years. The black mare will be bred to my cremello and the black colt will head into the show arena. I am very fortunate in that I have never had to decalre bankruptcy even as I watch those around me fall. I have always had to live frugally and because of this natural thriftiness instilled in me by growing up poor, I will survive and may even thrive even as others sink into oblivion.
